Recognising the market’s importance and complexity, fleetcompetence International, headquartered in Switzerland, decided to establish a direct presence in Germany, creating a dedicated local organisation fully integrated into its international consulting network.
A direct presence in Germany
The establishment of fleetcompetence Germany marks a new chapter for fleetcompetence International in the German market. The new structure reflects the Group’s strategic decision to maintain a direct presence in one of Europe’s most important fleet markets and to provide German clients with the same independent, international and supplier-neutral consulting approach available across the fleetcompetence network.
Hennecke Fleet Consulting is no longer a fleetcompetence partner
In the past, fleetcompetence International worked with a local partner in Germany, Hennecke Fleet Consulting. That relationship ended in 2025. Hennecke Fleet Consulting is no longer affiliated with fleetcompetence International or fleetcompetence Germany GmbH. In Germany, the fleetcompetence Group is represented exclusively by fleetcompetence Germany GmbH, Hamburg.
A strong first year
Stephan Maleszka and Max Leydecker have been appointed as Managing Directors of fleetcompetence Germany, and a dedicated office has been established in Hamburg.
Over the past months, the two Managing Directors have established German consulting services, built a broad network of relationships within the corporate fleet and automotive ecosystem, and initiated collaborations with major corporate groups and other key market stakeholders.
Their work has created a strong foundation for the continued expansion of fleetcompetence Germany and for new solutions addressing the rapidly changing requirements of corporate fleets in Germany.
Bringing independent 360-degree fleet consulting to Germany
